Penn West Futsal announces League Select Program!

Penn West Futsal in cooperation with Keystone Indoor Kicks announces its first annual Futsal League Select Program.
What is a League Select Program?
League Select is a method of having representative teams selected from large groups. In the case of US Futsal this is Leagues rather than States as in USYSA Outdoor ODP Programs.
Is this a new Program?
Yes, Penn West Futsal has been selected as one of the prototype programs that will serve as a model for the rest of the leagues across the USA.
Who is involved?
Any player or coach registered to Penn West Futsal for the 2010-2011 seasons!
When & Where will this happen?
Players will be selected to participate in an event at the Monroeville Sports Center on March 12, 2011 starting at 2:00 pm.
How do I get involved?
If you’re a player you will be contacted if you are nominated and or selected. Coaches for these teams will be selected by their peers.
As a player how do I get nominated to a Penn West League Select Team?
All coaches of teams who have registered and played with the US Futsal Federations in the fall 2010 or winter 2011 will be asked to nominate players from their teams. Players should be in the U12, U14, U16 or U18 Boys and Girls Age Groups.
Who will coach these teams?
For the duration of this event, coaches will be selected by vote of their peers to coach the events on March 12.
How many players will be selected?
Between 7 & 14 depending on the type of games to be played on the March 12th.
Is there a fee?
There is no fee for nominations, however players who are secreted for the final teams will be asked to pay a $20.00 fee per player.
Awards?
Players who are nominated will receive a certificate naming them as nominated player For a Penn West Futsal League Select Team. Players selected will receive Penn West Futsal League Select 1st Team award and will also receive a game shirt which they can keep as a memento of their selection.
